is an Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Design at NIFT Mumbai. He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Textile Technology, with academic and research interests spanning fibre science, weaving, smart textiles, and technological innovations in textiles. Mr. Kirdile has played a key role in establishing state-of-the-art infrastructure at the newly inaugurated NIFT campuses in Shillong and Bhubaneswar. In his capacity as Head of Projects and Centre Coordinator, he has been instrumental in bringing numerous Central and State Government schemes to the handloom and handicraft sectors in fruition. His work on product diversification and design development for Odisha's handloom products - carried out in collaboration with the Central Silk Board, Bangalore, and SAHAC - was widely appreciated. He has also published extensively in reputed journals in the field of textile technology.
